It is the first Womens Polytechnic established in ASIA, in 1961. Presently 2 Engineering courses, one Non-engineering course and Diploma Pharmacy are running. Proposals are submitted for third engineering Course. The institute is located in 23 acres in the central part of Kakinada. At present, the following Diploma Courses with the annual intake sanctioned against each are being run at this Institute. Table 1: Intake of Students at GPW, Kakinada.
